The 2nd in-person American Mini Golf Alliance (AMA) season kicked off at a new course in Easthampton, Massachusetts called Prodigy Mini Golf. The course has evolved into its second iteration, designed by the mastermind and owner of Prodigy Jeff Bujak.
The Prodigium Mid-Winter Cup (co-organized by O-Street Mini Golf) brought out 25 players from the Northeast, with a majority being AMA members like Courcy, and Justin Seymour (all top 10 players from last season).
The format consisted of two rounds of 17 holes and ended up a three way tie in first place between newcomer David Bava, the reigning Matterhorn International Pro-Am champ Dave Vayda, and last year’s AMA season winner Aaron Kaminski. But it was Dave Vayda with a commanding three stroke lead in the playoff, who was victorious. David Bava took second place and Aaron ended up in third place. |
