In the 3rd Shack Mini Golf Tournament, we had a new winner. Jerod Mutter played consistently over two rounds to shoot a 2 round total of 124. This was 3 strokes better than the top score in 2023. Scott Kline and Bryan Weaver tied for 2nd and Scott Kline won the tie-breaker by forfeit as Bryan had to leave right after the tournament.
In the amateur division, Luke Tolley shot a 69 (-8) to win by 1 putt over Chris Wagner. Both divisions played a closest to the hole contest on the massive Hole #18. Bill Mezier won in the pro division and Kristen Porr won in the amateur division.
Notes about the course and scoring. The scores reflect the fact that the course has 19 holes and Bangolf Arena only allows for 18 holes. We separated the front 9 (A) and Back 10 (B). Several players were issued "penalties" only to help reflect their scores of 10 on specific holes. In 2023, the tournament did have a stroke limit of 10 and this was the best way to reflect the actual scores in the tournament.
Pros played 2 rounds and amateur competitors played a single round. |
