This was the final scoring event for the AMA for the 2023 season and it was held on the Walkabout Mini Golf VR game. The two courses selected at random happened to both be the Tethys Station Easy and Hard courses. Results were utilized by a weekly Walkabout Mini Golf league that was organized on Discord. We only utlized the scores of the players that opted into the AMA virtual event and were AMA members.
The AMA had two Walkabout events in the 2023 AMA season and one winner, Jorge Rimblas. With two out-of-this-world rounds in the -20s, Jorge bests fellow Minnesotan Shawn Brown by 2 strokes. Shawn had the best result on the hard course of Thethys Station with a -24. AMA season 1 champion Mick Cullen came in 3rd after scoring the best of the field on the easy course with a -25.
